8L Bi Xenon group buy (Round 2)

Thanks for the reply do you have a price in mind or do you work things out.
 
Any chance we can still get this group buy going? In need of some fresh headlights as mine are now faded and yellowed

The group buy did go ahead eventually, message @t8ups and ask him if you can start a new one.

There was another group buy that was done after this one. It was prob this time last year that I was alowed to start a new one after speaking to a admin and of course @t8ups himself to make sure he would do it.
This is a good time of year as people are starting to use there headlights again.
Start by asking @t8ups if he would do a gb as there is a lot of work involved in it for him and he's a busy man.

I think Group-Buys have their place if the supplier is trying to start up a business - but it is usually when one person wants a deal and understands theirs will be a little cheaper if they can encourage 10 other people to buy one too ("probably" like buying drugs for a rave back in 1989 :D )

you might find that getting extra special service by paying a fair price for a new item made especially for you is not much more than the whole group buy pain and suffering.

Have spoken with @t8ups and he will work out some details and post up a new groupbuy in next day or so. Watch out for it and add your name on the new thread when it’s up and running.

I'd be up for a set from @t8ups , my headlights are in good condition but I'm still not happy with light output and I'll be damned if I can get Any sort of HID kit to work...!

Edit - silly question but I assume the Xenon kit fitted is plug and play for those of us with standard halogens? And thus no blown wiper motor ? Cheers!

From what I’ve read of the S3 lighting, I’m fairly sure I’d be up for the group buy please.

Has anyone got any pics of the headlights with the red insert similar to T8ups early pics?
 
That's great to hear T8ups is up for another group buy project, can't wait it'll make a lovely xmas present for my S3
by the looks of it we already have a few keen members ready for a group buy on a fresh pair of headlights :thumbs up:
 
I’d be interested in a pair too if it goes ahead.
 
Who ever is interested you would.be better to start your own new thread for this gb. And get everyone on it to put there names on a list and then use will be able to see who is wanting. @hharry100 I dought very much they will be done in time for this Xmas. I'd say if it goes ahead March time they prob b ready depending on what paint jobs people go and how busy he is.

I have been in contact with T8ups who is willing to do another group buy if there is enough interest, so far i count 5 of us (including me).
Hydro s3 it was just wishful thinking i dont mind waiting a bit longer for these awersome upgraded headlights.

Looked around on the forum but I see no new group buy thread... If I cannot source an oem set I'll have a set of these please.

I'll see what happens with Sandra (thank you btw) messaging him, else yes I may message him myself. Didn't realise it was a Sunday, I'm a shift worker so weekends are just another day lol .

Ha yeah shift work can do that to you.
I hope use all do get these lights as I love mine. So much more brighter and make the car so much more better looking. I went for full black out.

I am willing to do another group buys if there is interest but it needs to be 10 Minimum.

@t8ups that's cool bud... I'll set up a fresh thread if that's cool with admin @Sandra and yourself mate. How much are we looking for say a standard set with no fancy bits ? Ie, I'm just after a set with Xenon dipped beam, no LED side light or anything, and standard inside colour . Cheers.

Also @t8ups are they literally a case of remove old units and fit these, ie plug and play ? Hoping for better light without any radio interference as thats why I removed the HIDs ... Silly question as I see you have loads of happy customers so shouldn't be any issues ! :)
 
Im intrested in a fresh set of uprated headlights will be glad to get rid of my old faded units, would also be intrested in a uv protection to stop any future fading/yellowing
