Hi all,

Ive been doing research into installing a computer into a car, but I would only go ahead with it if I could hook the computer up to the RNS-E screen.

I know that there are 'RNS-E Multimedia Adapters' available on eBay that allow RCA connectors to be plugged in, which I'm assuming would follow the same concept as plugging a scart lead into a TV?

I've searched on eBay and have found some VGA to RCA cables:

I was hoping someone who knows about this kind of thing could let me know if this would work okay?

Thanks for any help,

One issue you have is fooling the RNS-E into thinking it has a TV tuner attached, basically unless the RNS-E sees a TV tuner on the canbus, then you will not be able to select the TV input.

Also, the RNS-E uses RGB and sync seperate, so RGB alone may not be enough.

Have a look on navplus.us, one of the guys on there has connected a PC directly to the RNS-E and got the resolution right.
