I am very pleased to be able to announce the Newly developed 80mm Full Bore Silicon TIP for K04 users like LCR's, S3's, TT225's etc

**Latest** We have decided to double the tooling on these so production qtys can be increased to satisfy demand. As soon (and more often before) they arrive, they are sold.. If you want one, particularly black or red, you will need to place your order payment to secure one from the next batch to avoid disappointment.

Fresh off the mould tools the new 80mm TIP is a one piece silicon TIP, plus its Billet Adaptor & clips.

This is the evolution of the 3" TIP as was, but now simplified into a one piece Silicon hose. The increased bore size of 80mm maintains MAF Sensor Internal diameter straight through to the turbo intake, increasing airflow as proven with the 3" TIP previously. The 80mm Silicon TIP replaces the 3" multi-component version for all ESP equipped rhd cars.

The TIP fits to std airbox or induction kits and cone filters. Some trimming to suit may be required to tailor to the car.

Torque AND Power gains across the board, and reduced spool time.. MORE TORQUE EVERYWHERE

Bill, do you have a link showing the gains on a stage 1 remapped car? LCR or S3 is no problem :)

sorry if this sounds stupid, i've read so much about these on here I reckon I need one in my life! however, how easy/hard are they to fit? should i be considering anything else at the same time? all I have engine mod wise so far is revo stage 1. thanks josh

I would consider the heatshielf and JR filter which accompanies this for best gains. S3 Dave sells the heatshields on ebay, and the filters are £45+vat

fitment on these is pretty easy. Allen key needed, and screwdriver for hose clips..
and sealer for TIP to turbo (automotive silicon sealer, lightly applied)

little sneak peak of an 80mm TIP working well, increasing power and torque everywhere. Zero losses against the normal silicon tip on the car previously.. just gains everywhere ;)

Unlike some very misleading mis-information spread by some folks who are comparing Apples and Pears.. with subsequent claims..

3" aint 80mm :p 23% Larger Cross Sectional Area on V2 80mm B5 TIP over and above 3" TIP :D

Revo1 before on silicon TIP/Neuspeed filter B7t4, Revo2 after with 80mm V2 B5 TIP/JR B8t5

For my Dyno these are the highest K04 car in power/torque produced.

the size difference is HUGE. the autobahn/samco/forge ones are basically standard size ones pictured at the top but smooth silicone.

there is a picture vs a std one... other silicon hoses are only slightly larger than OE, this one is obviously 80mm ID to the turbo!

Hi bill.. Looking to do this soon when i start my new job, just a quick question, if i had it fitted, could my map be tweeked or stage2'd with just that as the only mod to get the best out of it? Or would the tip just pull out all the power from a stage 1?

on some LHD (TT) there is apparently some "gubbins" which may get in the way of the larger TIP.

Does your existing TIP look like the OE one pictured? Comparing the 80mm one to the std one, can you see anything in the way where it would sit on your LHD car?

The problem on LHD car it's the brake master cylinder, I have V1 installed and must say that isn't easy...

sorry for my late reply,
well yes it does look like my OE tip, but atm o have a samco one installed and it is a very tight fit.it is actually rubbing on one of the master cylinder brake lines so my guess is that your tip would probably not fit.

Some have fitted them, but I suspect there are interferance issues with the lhd servo, abs etc...

I cannot confirm they fit lhd as well as they fit rhd cars....
If one of you can take pictures of your existing TIP and its clearance issues, I may be able to get something made for lhd

regards
bill
