Best Performance Tuning?

Hi guys!
What would you say is the best way to tune up the engine on an Audi A3 1.6 '97 ?

The engine is totally standard.
I've just had an engine re-build and put a re-con gearbox in.

Keep the 1.6 for a while to build up your NCB and then get an equiv turbo model

Were not taking the **** mate, its just tuning a N/A A3 1.6 is like flogging a dead horse.

the insurance for the turbo'd car will be around same as your car at the monet with 1 ncb and years experience. well worth it though !!

On a serious note dont bother with tunning the 1.6 engine (I didnt with my old A3 and was glad i didnt waste my money) Just save up untill you have a turbo engined car then modding is easy
