Thank you so mush @<tuffty/> i will post some pictures of my progress. I bought a complete audi tt R32 8n 2004 . So all my s3 hardware ,manual stuff is being transfered to the tt and all the TT r32 stuff is going to the s3. Looks like i will need to adapt the R32 121pin loom to work with the s3 . Pins i need to add on the engine side is minor changes by the look of things on your sheet. Way more wires on the black , orange plug. The blue plug matches up and some wires match up on the white T10 plug aswell. The grey plug is just fro the dsg box, this is not for the faint hearted . It is a crap load of work

Hope you are doing well. Need some help please , on the T14i plug below .I am not sure what pin4 , pin6 and nc means. Is Nc not connected and not sure what is CTS Pin. I also noticed because i am swapping the big plug aswell and using poland R32 plug and play adaptor There is a few pins in the rain tray i need to pin. I also noticed that i won't have enouth outputs to control the Starter Inhibit, and reverse light. I am unable to find the complete R32 ecu pin out from pin 1 to 121. The excel sheet attached is what i have come up with so far.

Hi mate...

NC is no connection so a blank pin... CTS is coolant temp sensor

Not enough pins on the EMU black? not sure what to suggest for that... not an ECU I have personally used

One thing I would ask of you though... could you possibly carry this conversation over to your own build thread please? its getting close to the point of being hijacked to discuss issues and progress on your own build and spec and runs the risk of the information getting distilled especially as your ECU and other hardware is different to the stuff I used for mine so don't want this to end up being confusing for people following the builds

Since fitting the VR6 and then the DSG box the front end is slightly (cough!) heavier... my poor old B8/H&R suspension is not really setup for the extra weight and the front is a bit crashey on our glorious roads...

So a while ago I bought a set of KW V1's... these are the kit for the R32 and TT 3.2 so the spring rate should be more suited to the 'big boned' engine and gearbox..

I have had the B8 setup (first with eibach springs, then Apex and finally H&R) for almost as long as I have owned the car (being one of the first real mods I did to her) and other than having to repaint the front dampers they appear to still be in great condition with no leaks and all that jazz...

Started at the rear....

Moving then to the front...

The 'grommets' for the brake hoses have been in since I fitted the 4 pots but thought it was about time I did something about them...

drew up a new grommet in Fusion then printed a pair out in Fiberlogy 40D TPU

Young me would have killed for a 3d printer back in the day

While doing the nearside front I noticed CV grease... yay!!.. split boots!!

Order a pair of boots as why not... they are cheap at least than 20 for the both of them

Stripped and cleaned the joints and the shaft (fnarr)

...and reassembled...

Nice... I set the ride height highish to allow it all to settle plus I don't intend to dump the car on the deck anyway

..yes... I know she needs a wash

Spent the next week or so driving her about to settle the suspension and I have to say I am surprised how well the car rides... the KW's do not feel like any other coil over I have experienced... they do feel stiffer than the B8 setup but not to the point the car is uncomfortable.. plus the front end is dealing with the 'glorious' roads much better...

It still makes me wince every time I get close to or drive over damage to the road that the council aren't aware of so cannot therefore be expected to pay out for any damage as they hadn't had the opportunity to repair said damage... but certainly feels less like its trying to launch the struts through the bonnet

In the meantime the A2 was getting some love with an RNSE and MFSW retrofit

Wheel module and Bluetooth with a custom module tray I drew up in Fusion..

...and a front speaker upgrade with custom speaker adaptors... again with the fusion and the 3d printing and the etc

I think I am going to revisit the stereo and retrofit setup in the S3 now and draw up some proper speaker adaptors as I used aftermarket ones that never really fitted well

All was going well until I went to move the S3 to get the tools out the boot and...

The engine turned over and over and over... did not fire.... the crank sensor is goosed!! so have a new one on order and will get the front off the car to fit the oil cooler, auxiliary rad and crank sensor...
