Help ! alarm problem

01134 - Alarm Horn (H12) This is what vag-com picked up on a 2000 w-reg audi a4 tdi.

no siren.......hazards keep flashing constantly.

What could the problem be ?

probably the battery inside the siern itself, quite a common problem.

is this now a dealer job or can it be diconnected or something

search for the threads on this, IMO just pull the thing out of the boot and be done with it.
my fruitless attempt at fixing it juts cost money
