Presume you have got some uprated engine mounts? If not, you need to as that poor engine is going to be rocking all over the place with that power lol..

Err, no as my dealer for engine mounts never came through!! ;) lol

BTW, I hear stories about a nice GTI a certain young man has been working on being very quick?
 
I have a set for you as soon as you need them, just let me know mate..

Yeah mine is running really well, we will have to have a little 'race' on Sunday!! haha..

becuase jbs have got my s3 and i should get about 550bhp as well

They might get you 550bhp, they might not! but so far The Phirm have done a fantastic job on mine and it drives like a dream..
 
I see this is the big boys league here haha, 400, 550 bhp......som epic figures bein thrown around here lol

Shame im in NY at the minute or id come to the pod, always a next time!

12 seconds for the quarter mile is a time for modded K04 S3's. You should achieve 11 seconds quite easily or maybe some high 10 ;)

Should be a good race then, JC has a light car with a fancy gear box but FWD, Andy's car is heavier (by ~150kg?) but has 4WD.

I reckon if Andy doesn't mess up the launch he'll take it thanks to the 4WD. Big if though!
 
Andy, passenger seat and back seats are optional at Santa Pod, so low 11s / high 10s are plausible if you get a good launch :)

And at +500 Bhp and God knows how many NM's, i think he shouldn't have any problems with the launch. ;)

Anyways it should be fun! I think that with a good launch you should be able to have a low 12 second pass. Im personally aiming for about the same..

Really depends if I can get the power down or not. 12 inch wide drag radials should help..

How many K04 S3s have you seen run 12 sec 1/4 miles mate? I've not seen/heard of one. Certainly not in this country anyway..
 
In Romania are two (one is mine) and i'm sure Andy's 360 Bhp Stage2+ S3 would have done the same. Now it is to late and it will do 12 sec only if he messes up the start :)

By the way, here is an old movie when my S3 did 13.0 on a 1/4 mile and back than it had only an exhaust and software http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iVdjTu9V9Q

I`m going to pop up and have a look, not been on here for a while & just been reading this thread...wow Andy, sounds like your car is rocket ship:w00t: Shocked that JC sold the s3-loved that car:icon_thumright: but the ED30 sounds like fun, should be a closer call than some might think? Great work Andy & Jonny!!! See a few of you there. :cool:
