i'm toying with the idea of swapping the alloys on my A3 sportback (should I decide to keep it) as i'm fed up with cleaning the BBS split rim alloys and the bloke down the end of the street has them too ... so what do you think would look good, i want something not to fussy and easy to clean, i love the BBS CH but they are a little expensive. mine are currently 18's so I wouldn't need tyres and i don't want to go any bigger.

I'm toying with the idea of black/anthracite my A3 is phantom black with the alloy roof rails.
 
Personally mr derv, I always thought the RS6 wheels look the best on the 8P, everytime I see them on an 8P I think I can never get bored with them, had them on my S4 B6 Avant & they were stunning, they just look perfect to me, easier to clean aswell.
 
Steve I have a few ideas for you. When I get in the office in the morning I will put some prices together for you. Have you got a budget in mind? I am loving the black wheel thing at the moment, I've put them on mine and I think it looks the muts!

not sure on prices, probably the cheaper the better otherwise i'd go for the BBS CH or some Anteras. Not keen on black but might consider anthracite.
 
out of those either the R8 or the TSW's. If I thought the ride would be ok i'd love to gofor those 19" 5 spokes you have for sale, but the ride isn't good on the 18"s I have
 
You have the S-Line suspension that is a bit fidgety at the best of times, with those 5 spokes you could run a 235/35/19 (they are ET50) which would give you a little more side wall for comfort than the usual 225/35/19.
 
out of interest how much for the 19's but with a decent tyre fitted, something like Goodyear F1 ? and how much for the TSW alloys only ? i'm currently on the space saver as I have a puncture and rather than buy 2 tyres I might buy complete new wheels as an xmas pressie to myself.
