Mods: Power APR ECU/TCU/Open Air Intake/Valved s/s Cat-back custom-fab exhaust.
Interior; Apple CarPlay, Flat-bottom Alcantra Steering Wheel, Audison Amplified Sub Enclosure.
Exterior: Gloss black rings/badges/diffuser/honeycomb grill and fog light surrounds.
The ECS diffuser has changed my mind about the chrome RS tips on the exhaust… I’m going back to Quads, but powder coated black with a slightly larger diameter (3.5”) to fill out the apertures better once ready in 4weeks…
NB. The ECS diffuser sold as ‘saloon only’ is a perfect fit for the Avant and fits in 10 minutes

Pics update…Black 4” exits look loads better I think…..

oh and a little bit of a double chin going on now…. And some OEM splash guards ALL DONE… unless I decide on going down the hub spacer route…

The paintwork on the nearside of my car has always bugged me since purchase, I knew it had been sprayed on the n/s rear door and also the front passenger door probably to blend, but we couldn't work out how only the rear quarter panel and bumper were mismatched but nowhere else.

We think it probably was blended to the bumper, but maybe the bumper was later replaced and pre-painted, so the blend was lost. Anyway, a mate at work got to it yesterday whilst I swapped out the brake fluid and done a great job. I still find it amazing the versatility of paint and clearcoat.

B7 BUL got written off recently so picked this up as a family bus today. Rides nice, pulls well considering, hate the clutch, seems straight and well maintained. Will do for now!

B_144L - coilovers and 20’s? What offset, wheel width and tyre size are you running?

I should confess, whilst the car itself is genuine, everything else is AI generated with a couple of clicks of the mouse. Scary! lol

Just searched threw my phone to upload some pics. I got a A4 B8.5 sline, black addition plus... not sure the difference with the "plus" is.
It's a 2.0tdi with map. Other than that it's standard.
But I can't find any photos... well only 1

And it needs a clean. The misses has stolen it to go shopping so will get some photos when she is back.
In the workshop I got some carbon wing mirros to throw on it.
It's got a revo map and ment to have 260bhp ish not a clue is it has or not.

As promised. Some more pics of my B8.5

You may want to adjust your tips down a tad mate.. I have the same ECS diffuser with Scorpion tips; and the cheap, thin ECS plastic melted onto the tips and damaged them. I had to remove the bumper and cut all the internal (non-visible) diffuser plastic away to give the tips more room to expand/move when hot

Good tip @g00se, I think I'm possibly going to fit mine tomorrow and possible add 100mm tips.

I'm going to do it slightly differently to you though... I'm planning on trimming the ends of the tabs (leaving most of the material intact) and using double-sided nano tap as the fixation on each one. The tape is extremely strong, weather resistant and bonds to almost anything, but the plan of action might change if I don't find a decent enough surface to mate it to on the bumper.

I'll post pics once it's done!

Your bang on the money there. The tips have been moved down and the ECS plastic melted slightly but nothing that’s noticeable.

As promised...

Mine fit close, but so far no melting of the diffuser, but then the outer tips are significantly larger than the inside.
