hello again...

Following on from my previous thread...

I have also noticed that the steering wheel is squeaky, which ever way u turn it...any advice?

And sometimes when it rains there is water on the floor on the front passenger's side?

Lastly has anyone ever had a problem where the driver door will jam..it wont open from the inside or outside...i mean if it was in winter i'd understand but not in spring?

appreciate it if someone could advise on one or all the problems above.

As far as water in the passenger footwell, take a look under the bonnet at the corner next to the passenger windscreen. There is a waterway which lets water coming off the windscreen, run down and under the car.

These can get blocked with leaves etc and trap the water. This can then enter the cabin behind the glove box via the pollen filter.

clear the leaves out and check that water runs down the drain hole onto the floor.


If this looks clear then there are also drain plugs UNDERNEATH the battery inside the scuttle pan. Again these can get blocked and casue water entering the car. You will have to remove the battery to see these
