54 b6 coming/leaving home lights

I'm wanting to have coming/leaving home lights on my car but I don't have the auto switch in mine, just wondering how I can do it?
I do have vagcom just wondering if I need anything

Tend to need the new ch/lh switch
Wiring from new switch to headlight then down to highline comfort module.

Then vcds to turn on auto light sensor even if you don't have auto lights. Makes it think you do, it just means the lights come on all the time, rather than just when it's dark.
