White A3. Advice Please

Right some may i think i'm mad doign this to an A3, But i want to do something different and any-one can go buy an S3 so i thought why not!

Ive always fancyed a respray and the colour i want to go for is that nice white colour.

A friend does alot of work for porsche etc and he said he'll do the Re-spray for me at a very good price.

Is there a Particular White i should be looking at?

Pearl White or do i just go Ibis White?

I saw Sitrials post the other day and i thought that looked great!

Any ideas of what i could do do i smooth the rubstrips etc?

Im going black roof and white body..

Heres how she looks now.

Saw a newer shape A3 s-line in whote the other day and that looked great - not sure which white it was though
 
I'm not so sure about a white A3 - there's plenty of real one's kicking about
 
Does the 8L come in white? i never thought it did.
 
I've seen a few White 8L A3's so not common, but they are about, and factory paint aswell, White S3 = Original Jas, can't say the same for White A3, but it's your money at the end of the day mate....

Theres a white 8L S3 that was resprayed and all caged up that was going around, think it was a pre-facelift tho

White cars are only passing phase tho, keeping them clean soon wears off for owners, the trade in price for white Mk5 Gti Golf was about 1k cheaper on trade in than the other colours when I worked for Vw
 
keep it in silver mate.
when you have fitted the zenda kit
it will be sweet.
 
I've never seen a nimbus grey A3. That would be cool, and in the same "light" colour range. Its the primer grey used on TTs.

White A3s look okay if you colour code the sills and lower bumpers. A black roof will look good as it will break up the expanse of white and blend into the front and rear screens. I might have a go at some photoshopping if I get time.

Overall, I like the idea.

I dont want it looking original, the White factory standard A3's ive seen are more of a Creamy White colour than the Ibis White i was thinking of.

I dont use the car too much maybe ten miles a day so cleaning it once a week is no problem for me :)

I just wanted something different and the Black roof and Ibis white i thought would look great.

Maybe some-one could photoshop something up for me?

Ive mentioned beofre on a past post....there were a fleet of white 1.8TQ's being used by the south yorkshire paramedics... not seen them lately....
 
White is the most popular selling colour for a car in the USA.

I think 19% of the market over there are white now.

Thats what i took the idea from,

My A3 will have the S3 Rear bumper S3 Rear spoiler too.

Still deciding on Skirts and either a Zender Front end or an S3 bumper.

White would look really good in my opinion, especially with the black wheels, not sure about the black roof though!:hubbahubba:

Appart form the lights its alright, still looks like its a taxi driven by someone called Pedro tho
 
im maybe thinking you would get away with white on the S3.... possibly....eeekkk.....
 
Well Ive decided im going for the White Body and Black roof.

Havnt decided on the other bits yet like handles etc, im going to have the door rubstrips smoothed too.

Also going with an S3 Rear bumper, Spoiler, possibly a zender front bumper and not sure on skirts yet!

If you are on about the one with Audi A8 reps, it's local to me, looks rubbish in my opinion.
