Anyone got one?

What’s the difference between the standard and pro?

In the std version (web site is a little confusing) look for all the different selection tabs.

In the Pro version as well as exhaust flap control you can have control over : Stop start: lane assist: speed bongs: last mode setting.

I have one fitted to mine, turns all the mentioned driver assists to a 'remember last setting' option at every ignition 'ON'

Although it's 'plug and play' mainly in the passenger footwell the memory part needs threading across behind the dash and to the steering wheel controller (I think it's the steering wheel controller)

Thanks Mike, makes sense now.

On their website I was clicking the standard and pro tab expecting the description to change but it only altered the price, now realise the description for both is in the boxes below.

I can see how the additional features on the pro can make it convenient, just quips jump in price.

I like how the ASR interfaces with the cars system rather than the Fob based systems.

Does anyone know of a garage that supplies and fits these units? It looks like a must-have for me.

Their parters are listed on their website;

Miltech Auto Performance Ltd
Automotive Passion

Try those maybe?

Just a note on the full PRO version that 'should' be corrected by now...........

On my PRO version the length of the lead that crosses over from the LH passenger footwell to the steering wheel controller (I think thats what it is) was too short, don't forget ASR are more than likely only working on LH drive cars so in that case the steering is a lot closer to the LH footwell.

luckily for me the Alarm guy was fitting my Pandora system from my previous RS3 when the postie delivered the ASR unit, the alarm guy wanted to get involved fitting the ASR and we quickly realised the lead was too short, he extended the 'twisted pair' and all was good

I told ASR about this and they sent me a new complete loom and said they had altered the production specs, probably still worth asking the question when ordering though :)
