Q8 2021 e-Tron 50 QQ2 dataset

Hi,

Does anyone happen to have access to the MLBevo dataset for the 2021 e-Tron for activating the multicoloured ambient lighting? I’ve got the parts installed, coding done, have odis-e, but cannot find the dataset and paying an extra £350 to buy VCP jsut for this one retrofit seems… excessive.

Dataset for which module? I thought the QQ2 lights were controlled by the BCM which generally does not have a dataset. Does the BCM have the actual physical pin present? (Pin 29 in socket C). BCMs that do not support QQ2 are missing this pin. Or at least this is how it used to be when I did it on the MQB platform unless it's all different in MLRevo...

I believe it’s for the BCM1, I couldn’t find any way to just code it in as it needed parameterisation.

I eventually managed to find a trustworthy company who was able to do it remotely, but it did need the dataset. Despite me having the capabilities to upload it with ODIS-E, I found it impossible to get a hold of.. apparently now I’m aware I could potentially have paid for GEKO access and re-parameterised it that way, but no one would definitively tell me and I asked all over the internet.

The single biggest barrier to retrofits right now that I’ve found is getting datasets and parameters. Information on those is quite… “gatekept” it seems from my experience
