AUDI RS3 8Y 2022 Saloon - Unable to activate RS Tail Light Animation - OBDEleven

Hello everyone!

I got my OBDEleven Pro dongle today and after a few connection attempts, finally got it connected to my car. After running a scan and then a backup I tried to enable the RS tail light animation through the one-click apps but I get this message:

My cars is a 2022 8Y RS3 saloon and I'm running software version 3691.

I assumed if I have the dynamic indicator tail lights this coding should work.

I looked through the OBDEleven scan file and found these settings:

If I get time I'll try the long coding adaptations later to see if that works. I have also dug out my old VCDS Hex+CAN cable and will also try that later to see if it will connect (but not sure it is compatible with the 8Y)

Please can you share any tips to enable the RS animation on my RS3, or anything I can investigate further.

Quick update:

I tried the update using the OBDEleven adaptation and followed this process:
Fix My Car Info - VAG Coding

The adaptation accepted the new value value but the tail lights still only flash the dynamic indicators.

FYI - I had the bonnet open when I did the adaptation and I did a soft reset on the MMI. I have started the car and locked/unlocked a couple of times but no change.

So it did work after running the adaptation. Realised this when I went out later in the evening and the full taillight sweep happened.

Yeah, the animation will happen as standard on the 8Y without the need for coding, but only when the lighting outside is low enough to require the headlights and taillights to activate and remain on.

So you won't see any animation on the taillights in the middle of the day for example, only the 'R', 'S', '3' animation in the front driver's side DRL (as they will always be illuminated).
