A few weeks ago we bought a brand new SQ2. Up to now we like the car but there's one big issue spoiling it for us.

It just doesn't have any go. It's unusable in comfort mode, press the accelerator and nothing happens, unless you press the pedal to the carpet, then it takes off. A gradual increase in pressure on the accelerator pedal doesn't elicit any increase in speed. It's quite dangerous. Particularly joining a motorway, you either join at a slow speed or join at warp speed which is not healthy.
Dynamic mode is better, but not a lot. It's like putting your foot in a bowl of custard. It's not a pleasure to drive.
We are used to cars of this power, from Subarus, Golf R's S3's etc. We are used to pressing the pedal and then the car should increase speed in line with the increased movement of the accelerator pedal.

It's so disappointing I'm really thinking about returning it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Tbh, the comparative of the previous cars & this is definitely going to be a eye opener, like my A5, they're synonymous for delayed gas pedal, it's a feature lol, I'd look at remaps or return, also check for software update, thing is due to emissions they're kinda doing a restriction on some cars these days to pass EU emissions rules, not to say there isn't an issue but it's one thing to check into online.

their might be a software update for your car but you'll need to ask the audi dealer about it.
