Hi 2020 A4 Diesel owner, I have had this alert now 3 times in last 2 weeks but goes away when I turn the car off. Car goes into limp mode and won’t go above 50, but as I said clears when engine off and on again.
Also getting a separate EML fault flagging up P0101 fault but that isn’t triggering this fault in the photo, just the EML going on
Could they be connected somehow?

take it down to a mechanic, it doesn't go into limp-mode for no reason... either the TCM is acting up or something else in the drive train is causing the problem. Nothing that wouldn't surprise me if has a DSG transmition. It might just need a service... but could be more all in all if you don't have a way to do the diagnostics, find an indy garage that can and have them at least diagnose the problem.
