OneMiniBite gear surround cover

I was looking at the gear surround cover for my Mk8.5 Golf r from Oneminibite to cover the piano black plastic. With me now ordering an New RS3 I decided to look on there site to see if they do similar for the A3. They do, I think they look pretty good at a reasonable price, only thing is at the moment they only do it for LHD so no good for Uk RHD. I emailed them to ask about RHD and they said, We're already on it so hopefully they should be available later on this year. What do you think about them as it seems to add a bit to the interior while looking oem.

Yes I have seen that one, with that one you have to remove the gear surround unlike the Oneminibite were it just lays on top and stuck down with 3m tape.

They do leather and alcantara in them so will probably do it to match, you can even have an rs3 logo put on.

Fitted my carbon fabrik center console trim along with a few other mods.

The match to OE is very good. I have an interior PPF kit due for the gloss black items either side of the screen etc but debating whether to go carbon again. Actually think the black works well with the screen.

I'm also not a big fan of the piano black trim, and am debating whether to go for this at around £300 but it does look good.

I think it's when the wheel doesn't have the additional driver assistance sensors. My UK 2022 RS3 has the same flat bottomed wheel.

For awareness there is an additional customs charge when ordering from CarbonFabrik which makes it a bit more expensive than I thought!

Yes, but the German tax is removed at checkout to be fair. Due the the value stated on the shipping its fairly certain you’ll get stung at this end.

Good point and I'd not put 2 and 2 together on that.

Wasn't a complaint, I posted it just for awareness.

To be fair to CarbonFabrik their ordering process and customer service has been really good. Would recommend.

Ok, so I decided to get the full dash kit from carbon fabrik. Much nicer than the gloss black trims.
