Bald tyres was in relation to the first one he reshelled wasn’t it?

must have been the exhaust... but if you got bald tires that also could be the reasonbbut judging by the tire that had the broken off wheel hub the tires have enough thread.
 
Saw this earlier - it was indeed the smashed Daytona Grey 8V in the background that the insurer didn't pay out on because of bald tyres.

It never ceases to amaze me how such stupid people can get theirs hands on these cars.

Now also the kind of idiocy that seems to exist in the UK...

Those people exist worldwide... as soon as they get their hands on anything performance based they'll use it as such on any road. Regardless of other road users and their own safety... such is life.

lol yeah I rewatched that bit and it’s clearer now.
I think he could’ve been clearer there, because it still comes across as bald tyres.

Just watched the second YouTube video on this rebuild and he had a a tuning box fitted which with the exhaust could of been another reason for the insurance to refuse to pay out.

Jup, maybe we are lucky and manufacturers will calm down...who needs that much HP for daily use? Yeah, nobody... thing is they made them, people bought them, and at a certain point, they'll be on the used car market for cheap... and every generation will have people that drive irresponsible.
 
let's just hope that by the time they can buy them they don't hold a charge properly and the battery packs need to be replaced... that way they'll shy away from them.
