Hi, this maybe a sill question!!! I need to change my Battery in my 60 plate Audi A3, the guy in the shop said there is 2 types, one for stop start car and a one without (big difference in price). My car dosent seem to have stop start, because it dosent do it!! But the guy in the shop says it can turn itself off!!! There is nothing on the current battery to say its a stop start battery !!! Guy in shop says if you use a standard one in a stop start in can effect the ecu, so some functions wont work correctly.... Any help would be appreciated...

I'm guessing you may have sorted this now however, if your car has Stop/Start you should have a button on the dash board to turn it off & on. So look for that.
If you have stop/start you should have an AGM battery fitted, so look at your battery & see if it's AGM or not.
I'd have thought the person you asked about that battery would have been able to tell which one you needed?.. if it is Stop/Start you will also need the battery 'coded' to the car, just so that car knows it has a new battery fitted and will charge it as such.

Oh and for reference, Stop/start not working (if it is on the car) can be an early sign of a dying battery, i had that on mine. stop start worked for a bit then didn't.. which didn't bother me as i hate it anyway, but then eventually was getting sluggish starting in the winter so got a new battery & stop/start now works!.. damn it
