I think there was an option for that buried somewhere in the MMI. Either in the car or overall settings.

Mine (25 reg) will open all windows and the sunroof to the tilt position when holding down the unlock button on the remote, car has done this from new without me changing any settings.

Was a long press of the fob to close.
On my 8Y the opening option was in the MMI section vehicle option of central locking.

I'm glad there's an option to toggle that function on or off. I don't need to use it at all but have some history of accidentally opening the windows when I happened to have some stuff in the same pocket as the key fob. Happened while raining, of course. Now every time I open the myAudi app it says all the windows are open, before I manually refresh the status. So it eases my mind to know that at least the windows don't open by accident from the keyfob.

I turned the global opening off John, it was always a worry I'd press the fob by accident if it was in my pocket in the house.

You can also close all openings by a long touch of the outside of the door handle after the car has locked
