Facelift Electrical issues

So one day after washing my car my interior cigarette and usb port fuse blew. I’ve replaced it and it still blows as soon as it’s put in.

Nothing is plugged in when I change It and it instantly blows.
Has anyone had this issue / can recommend a fix it’s doing my head in

Leave the fuse out and clean the inside of the cigarette lighter socket, use an electrical cleaner. Wait for it to dry than put the fuse back in. Also clean whatever you put in that lighter socket.

After cleaning put the fuse back in, that should do the trick.

Use a multimeter to check for short circuits and grab the wiring diagrams to see what's connected to the fuse location. Some stuff can be disconnected, such as the 12v socket
