Can you view / access media without the ignition on?
I was sure that this was possible on my car before the dealer undertook a software update. I seem to recall boarding the Eurotunnel turning off the ignition and when opening the driver door all the exterior lamps turned off. It was then possible to turn on the system with the power button on the volume control and access the MMI / media.
Currently if I use the power button on the volume control I receive an accessing rights please wait splash screen and it never gets past that! message. There is volume, so I can hear the movie I was watching, just can't see it!
If I turn on the ignition the system wakes up as normal. Turn off the ignition and it remains but all the exterior marker lamps remain illuminated, but as soon as they time out I loose the screen again
