Knowing this guy’s recent disappointment with Audi, his conclusion couldn’t have been more predictable. I don’t think this edition of the RS3 is even trying to deliver the very best of Audi’s engineering. It feels more like what Audi can afford to offer at the moment, sad as it is. On the other hand, the standard RS3 seems far more competitive on its own than, for example, the B9 RS4, whose Competition edition received considerable praise for how much of an improvement it was over the standard car.
Skip the superlative overload at the beginning, but this guy seems to really appreciate the small improvements of the car when he's driving, and you can't fake the joy that he expresses at times. Looks fun drive anyway - and fast.
Guess again the truth is somewhere in the middle. Bad thing about the pricing is that most buying customers are likely wealthy collectors who rarely drive the car at all or care about how it's improved over the standard car.
