Hi
I have an Audi A1 Sport which I bought in 2024. The year is 2018 and as far as I can see it has not had a cam belt replacement. Should I replace it now or am I able to leave it a little longer considering the age of the vehicle. Appreciate your help

Normally do them every 5 years or 60k miles. Even Audi change their mind on the interval. That said, If it goes and it’s an interference engine, then it’s tattles over the side as we say and Audi will quote chapter and verse on wear and tear and they can’t help. Replace tensioner pulley and water-pump too.

Maybe not so in respect of water pump, if it is an engine from the EA211 family then the water pump is driven from the rear(gearbox end) of the engine from a small toothed drive belt - from a cam shaft mounted pulley).

If it is from the EA211 family, then personally I'd replace the cambelt and tensioner every 8>10 years and 50>70 thousand miles - which ever occurs first. As said by @spartacus68 there is no "prize" other than a "wallet wrecking" for trying to see how long you can leave even these "long life" or "for life" EA211 engine cambelts.
