Scratched coolant metal fixture

Hi all

I was doing some work on the car yesterday and, in the process of removing several rubber hoses from the coolant system, I managed to scratch one of the mating surfaces of the metal fixture. I was thinking of lightly sanding the black paint off to remove the scratch before reassembly, what are your thoughts?

Wouldn't worry as when that clamp is on, it will seal it very tight.
