Spring is here so lets see what we lost in performance over the winter ? turns out it beat its best ever run

DSC 1836

Not bad for 149k miles and 15 years old. engine never been apart except for timing and water pumps etc. standing 1/4 was 12.1seconds

I hope i never grow up -)

I wondered if it was just me but the new S3 grill and badge looks very KIA :) I did look at a new one with a view to changing but where has the Flat bottom wheel , the satin chrome paddles, the satin chrome gear stick surround ( or the gears stick for that matter) gone :) coupled with the £2k road tax and the fact that no one would take my S3 in PX...not to mention a £2.5k surcharge if i wanted to pay cash ? I will keep plugging away with the 8p
the biggest plus for me is the 8p is 2 door and easier to get in and out as i become more decrepit with age, now i am an OAP :)

dont even mention ADAS :)
