Had MOT today, all good expect for split inner CV boot.
Can anyone recommend a decent make that will last, apart from OEM.

Go for the heavy duty rubber ones that are more pliable than the harder PVC plastic ones.
and be sure you get the right ones for the inners as they are not all the same .

whatever brand you're looking at look at the details it will tell you if it's made from rubber or PVC you obviously want the rubber ones. There was a shift where the manufactures of these cv joints almost all swapped to the PVC ones and all noticed that they just rip within a years time. Most have returned back to the heavy duty rubber compound but you still have to check. If they don't know at the till, ask for one that lists the used material... takes them a little longer to check but they'll give you the right one.

Could not find OEM boot anywhere, Audi said there discontinued.
So I found this, GKN boot, looks good quality.
