Today I fitted Sline stearing wheel to an a3 and with it a wefa bluetooth module and everything works ,but not on my car...I have an s3 8p facelift stearing wheel I can only change the volume (I have the same wefa bluetooth from a few year back ).Both cars have the same audi concert 2 radio the difference is on the right side sline has an arrow with ))) mine has a human head with ))) .In vcds measuring blocks when I press the mode button and turn the trumb wheel the are funcioning but the radio does nothing.
On my wheel the left side buttons do nothing on the sline I can switch tracks and cycle through the modes

Slightly confusing tbh.....

Ok 1st so forget the BT kit, concentrate on the wheel, which wheel was fitted & which is now fitted, pics helps & part numbers, back to basics.

What's the module 16 show as the part number.

@NHN My wheel is this s3 wheel from facelift car i believe. The Sline wheel I fited yesterday to another car and the buttons on left work (the scroll wheel alow to change tracks) but on this one (S3 wheel) they do nothing.Only on the right i can change the volume...nothing else

Channel 16 Is steering wheel and I think it shows the module under the wheel its 8P0 953 549 F .I'm not sure about the SlipRing part #

Any info ? Tommorow I will try to see if there is problem between the left buttons and the right one

Just do a button test with vcds in 16 measuring blocks, if it's not showing then I'd say either the buttons are faulty or disconnected on the rear of the unit, the 2 buttons units share a cable across to eachother & one has a loom connected to the slip ring, possibly that cable has become dislodged on the back of either unit.

It's shows when I press them
There's a block that says 0000 when I rotate the left wheel the first zero change to 1 when I press mode the second goes to 1 same for the third and fourth zero for the right side respectively .This means they work.In the coming days I'll try to swap my concert 2 with one from the othere car just need to see if the code is written somewhere(On mine I have in written) .

Then if it sees presses then it's not the steering wheel, coding shouldn't be the issue unless you've not told the module it's got an mfsw, check that also.

The module under the steering wheel is coded for mfsw the option I choose was 2 because the car doesn't have a phone the right scroll works so coding is fine I also check the other car and both cars have the same coding .I need only radio operation .

Well if buttons are coded, buttons show up in presses in mvb but doesn't respond to radio then as long as mode is selected for the right device then without being there I'd say check the head unit, which unit is in the car now & if Audi is this coded for mfsw also, although you did say the volume works.

It's audi concert 2 It has it's own coding and I saw mfsw option I've enabled it and nothing on the left side.My suspicion is that the head unit is the problem. In both cars the head unit is the same ,the car with the sline wheel that I fited is newer MY don't know exactly but around 05 I think or begging of 06 maybe .

Pic of head unit needed to be sure.

Good news, strange as if it received certain commands then it should of received others as it's the same path for the signals for any steering wheel buttons, wheels, paddles.

It's strange yes .I managed to track the the same car I have taken the mfsw from for the other car and got It's head unit. Now on to the cruise control retrofit
