My other half has very kindly just smashed my passenger wing mirror glass trying to navigate a tight turn into a parking space . I've had a look and a replacement heated/electrochromic is about £120-£150 second hand on ebay. Given I normally drive during the day, I'm happy to go with a £15 heated one instead for now!
However - will a non-electrochromic one throw up an electrical warning? Or can I just tape up that connector in the mirror housing and leave it loose?
