On my old 3.2 TT I believe it was anything between -8 and +8 was within the tolerance of the adjusters.
On the modern 2.5 I believe it’s -5 to +5 degrees is the tolerance.

Ok thanks for that , I checked after driving it again and it came up camshaft adaption intake phase 3.72
And camshaft adaption exhaust 0.11

Will reset adaptions later and recheck and update it on here.
I heard it can be the adjusters/phase or cam magnets or something too
I just googled it and got chat and it said it's moderate ware , I'm very nervous with stuff like this , thought I would have to get it done but it's very costly and I'm out of work at the moment....so thought should I sell the car.

No unwanted noises or anything.
52,000 miles , only serviced at Audi but every 10k by previous owner....I do my cars every 3k.
Had car 4 months.

Keep it regularly oil changed with something decent and warm it up before booting it and it should be fine for a good while yet.

Were the Audi services every year? Did you warm it up before measuring?

I am going to get mine done at same time as I do the rockers, but just taking my time deciding how much I do at the same time. Not using it enough to sweat about it at the moment.

Audi service every year at 10k
Using 0w-30
Was up to temp , oil temp was 90 , I have some forum members say it should be around 80/85 as the hotter the oil gets the less the oil pressure.
I have now used 5w-30 and not 0w-30....not sure if I should swap back?
Someone said use 5w-40 but my searching tells me stay with 0w-30 or 5-30
Mine is 2019 dnwa engine and has opf/gpf
Always warm before giving it a hard run and always let it idle for 1-2 mins before shutting engine off
Also I plan changing oil every year at 3k which is what I drive

IMHO you should stay well away from 0w30 and 5w30. These engines run hot and all the similar VAG designs suffer from low oil pressure at the top end of the engine. 0w30 is for emissions and efficiency not engine life.

You need good oil pressure on cold start and high temperatures, that is where most wear occurs. 0w30, especially after a year, is bad at both.

Audi on yearly non-longlife servicing use 5w40 and that is one reason they still change my oil every year.

I've been told use only 5w-30.....as 5w-40 is not recommended as cars got opf/Gpf

Forgot you were DNWA, yes the standard Audi oil for DNWA is 5w30 but that has nothing to do with 5w40 being unsuitable. That oil is used across all petrol OPF cars and is made low soot formula. They deem 5w30 best fit for all the engines it is used on. It just so happens the low soot VAG oil comes only in 5w30 or 0w30, pure coincidence.

If it were my engine I would run 5w40 no question. Something like Motul 8100 xpower.

Older oils are not going to hit emission numbers but they will not hurt your OPF or engine, quite the opposite.
