2018 A3 DSG owners manual says do not let it creep in drive as it can wear clutch pack, but what about at traffic lights should it be left in drive with foot on brake or put into neutral? revs drop with foot on brake so is this disengaging the clutch packk??????

TIA.

It acts like any automatic when putting on the brake... it's still engaged but allows slippage, best to put it in N.

That would only be the case with wet DSG transmissions (DQ250, DQ381).

The DQ200 would simply disengage and basically be in neutral, as it's a dry clutch system (1.6TDI and smaller TFSI engines).

Perhaps o/t but I used to roll up to lights etc in the RS3 in neutral, blip the throttle a few times then just brake to a stop in N.
