Apologies if this topic has been covered but I’m pretty hopeless with the search function.
I broke a front spring recently and as it’s all original decided it would be wise to replace the shockers etc
at the same time. I’m not interested in stiffening and lowering just straightforward OEM replacements.
I got the original part nos from Audi but I’m not having much success in narrowing down suitable items.
The Bilstein shop says my shocker part (8N0413031G) is for a 1.8T and recommended B8’s with Eibach springs
which ny72 year old back wouldn’t like. The original spring has four pink and one violet dot
and the only place I see them is Audi tradition at 160 euros each. So, can anyone point me in the right
direction, all help appreciated.
