My car '24 A6 Avant TFSIe 50, has that convenience/comfort feature where you can kick/wave your foot under the rear bumper to engage the boot lid.
In practice it doesn't work when you want it to and regularly shuts on you by mistake when you're reaching for things in the boot.
There is no setting in my MMI which corresponds to toggling this on/off. It's recently been in to my local garage for a software update and I asked them to look at this. They said the only way they could do anything about it would be to disconnect the sensor which would cost upwards of £200.
Before I go ahead with this cost, has anyone got any other suggestions? Or success with this, or able to trouble shoot coding options for me and revert??
Thanks so much
