Alternator replacement on 2017 S3

Hi,

Have any of you done an alternator change on an S3?

Is it a DIY job? The guides I've been reading online say that the aircon compressor needs to be removed.

It will be if it's in the way... simpelest thing to do is to just look under the bonnet if you know what the alternator actually looks like.

I managed to do the change myself.

It came out via the top left by removing the washer bottle.

Total *** of a job, fingers get caught on everything, but it's do able .

On the plus, stop start no longer works.
