Have someone tried adding efficiency mode on s5 petrol B9.5?
Seen than on older cars could go on 9-central electrics, security access, adaption, but does someone know security code for 2023?
Tried 31347, 20107, 42013 and also 20113..

  1. Select Control Module Option
  2. Select 09- Cent Elect.
  3. Click on Security Access. use the recommend security access key.
  4. Adaptation
  5. Click Drive Select Standard Setting Key (I use the Key 4)
  6. you must go to Audi Drive Select screen on MMI
  7. You should have the 66 channel, read the value
  8. set a new value but here is the thing each mode is a value. its a byte long so the binary format is used (8 bit) each bit have a value right to left. the following values are in Decimal format
    • Bit 1 =Individual = Decimal Value 1 = Binary Value 00000001
    • Bit 2 = Comfort = Decimal Value 2 = Binary Value 00000010
    • Bit 3 = Auto = Decimal Value 4 = Binary Value 00000100
    • Bit 4 = Dynamic = Decimal Value 8 = Binary Value 00001000
    • Bit 5 = Offroad = Decimal Value 16 (00010000) but only if the bit 7 is active (1 value) if Bit 7 is off the value will be Race is taken , you can't have both. (Offroad and Race active)
    • Bit 6 = Efficency = Decimal Value 31 = Binary Value 00100000
    • Bit 7 = Switch Offroad/ Race mode when is active the Bit 5 = Decimal Value 64 = Binary Value 01000000
    • Bit 8 = ? Seems not to be active.
  9. Test Value
  10. Save and exit

This is done by FEC/SWaP code on the B9. VCDS can't do this.

The Efficiency mode is useless anyway, it ruins the way the car drives.

I understand that there will be no power :D but sometimes have really long drives with family, so could use this :) What is FEC/SWaP?

"Feature Enabling Code (FEC) / Software As a Product (SWaP) – a mechanism to pack vehicles with features and sell activation codes later on."

They're stored in the gateway module of the car and tell the car what features it's licenced for.

Is it possible to code exhaust flap valves on rear mufflers stay opened? have read that can put in dynamic, rev, then code them on engine block that there are no valves
