I noticed the other evening that the light for the door mirror adjuster on my TT (8J) only illuminates intermittently. Question, is the bulb a serviceable item or would the whole switch need replacing?

If you mean the switch, it's an led built I to the switch PCB, get a new switch if the mirror movement is working correctly which would theoretically discount the wiring to be an issue.

If all the other switch lights work fine then it's not the interior ambience lighting circuit at fault imho, again a switch would probably fix.

Thanks. What I suspected and didn't want to go to the castle of taking the door card off to find there was nothing I could do to fix it without a new switch. Assume it is probably a dry solder joint hence it works intermittently.

Actually pull the switch apart as it has some copper contact's, probably needs a clean & bend them a bit & it probably would resolve but dont know your technical level, hence switch replacement is easier.
