Hi, I'm replacing my rear trailing arms (pic attached to be clear in case I've used the wrong name) and anti roll bar drop links and I've only found two tutorials on this.

The circled end fits into a cup/cage which in turn bolts onto the chassis with 4 bolts. So, you fix the arm to the cup/cage on the bench then bolt onto the car.

Normally with parts like this there is a procedure to position the bush in the middle of it's travel before tightening the bolt, usually you jack up the hub. But since this must be pre-assembled off the car, is there any procedure to follow? Other than inspecting the relative positions of the old parts?

And same question for the drop links, one tutorial juts says to jack up the hub, but does not say by how much.

Thanks!

I replaced them on my TT, it's the same setup. Like you say, torque it in the settled road position off the car, so take a reference before jacking up. You'll probably need someone to stand on it while torquing it

Thanks, I'll take some measurements, doing it this afternoon. And thankfully will have help.
