So collected my new S5 Avant last Monday and within 6 days the HUD has stopped working. My local dealer confirmed they already have another customers car in the workshop with the same fault and are waiting on Audi to advise as they believe it may be a wiring issue that requires the dashboard to be removed....
Any one else with the same problem?
On a positive note, the car is running very well with no other issues. Its a mid September build so I guess it has the latest software. My only criticism is when playing music through the USB port, turning the volume off does not stop the track from playing. To pause the track you have use the pause button on the app. Never had that before on my other Audi's.
