Hello,
I'd like to address the issue with the rear wiper. Whenever I push and quickly pull back the lever, the rear wiper should complete just one cycle, but mine does it three times. This also happens when it’s raining and I put the vehicle in reverse; it cycles three times instead of once. Before I changed the arm and the broken wiper motor, it worked as expected, completing only one cycle.

The second issue may or may not be related to the first, but the rain sensor doesn’t activate unless I adjust the lever. I have to either move it up to a higher speed and then back to the auto position, or lower it to the off position and then return to auto. Turning the intensity wheel while in auto doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Is there anyone having the same problems? How can I fix them?

Hi not sure if my experiences may help, my rear wiper was doing similar to yours, seemed to have a mind of its own!

The problem was water ingress to the circuit board contained within the motor. There was a lot of white residue causing shorts, I cleaned it with a toothbrush and electrical contact cleaner. Also cleaned the metal tracks under the big plastic gear. It seems that the water nozzel got blocked and caused water from the wash wipe to enter the motor assembly so clean out eh nozzle and the shaft.

I know you replaced the motor, so this only applies if you used a used one.
