New order?

Call today. It's arrived in the UK!

TX.

Look forward to pics .. I think you're last loyal member of the original Audi gang on here mate.

Long history of Audi's for me from 2008 to 2021 (except for the brief Merc encounter). Great brand but nothing in the range currently appeals.

Still miss my RS3 8V and saw one at the weekend at a shopping centre car park - I do wonder where the one I had is now (10 years ago next month I got it).

They held it for a few weeks until the new reg / plate date. If they are open I'll collect it Sunday 01 March!

Imho the facelift seems to be "a lot" better than the PFL and even some of the sound is back. I'm hoping that it will be a keeper and it certainly will if the next RS3 has any form of electric power :wtf:

The FL is an 'evolution' of the previous car, sound is programmed diferently as in ex valves seem to stay open in a sports mode instead of closing the moment the car moves, theres hundreds of small improvements that you would have to own both to know, the main improvements for me are at number 1) The gearbox and 2) the cold start jumping about for the first 100 metres.

I would be interested in your first thoughts :)

My RS4 sometimes does this, do you know why it was happening on your RS3?
I suspect the car is programmed to 'heat the cats and filters up' so along the lines of ret*rd the fuelling/ex cam/ignition and open the wastegate to get maximum heat into cats and fllters.

My car had very strange pedal response and basically just made more noise and jumped about if you pushed the accelerator, on the FL they have removed about 90% on this annoying feature

Looking for some info please if anyone has it.

I intend to replace my RS3 before production ends and I've read various speculative articles about when this has to happen by due to the current engine failing upcoming Euro7 regs due in November, end seems to point towards late next year.

Does anyone have any idea how much longer production may continue for? I know it could be a how long is a piece of string question, my car is only 11 months old so ideally will replace it as late as possible.

My initial thought is that it definitely sounds better Vs before & the feeling of 2 cars in 1 is more obvious; almost a standard A3 in comfort (albeit a good looking one ;) ) and then totally mental in Dynamic. Taking it easy of course through to about 1k miles.
