Hi guys
I have 2017 sedan 200kW, with 1BK adaptive air suspension, and I have recently bought 2017 avant competition with also 1BK adaptive air suspension. But, Avant is ~1cm higher and suspension feels "softer". I went to Audi to do the calibration, and there aren't any major improvements. I wonder why is this the case cause both cars have 1BK in the booklets / sticker, so I would presume the would have same or very similar suspension? Both cars are on 20" wheels. Sedan originally came with 18" though.
These are wheel arch to ground measures:
Sedan:
FL: 68.7cm FR: 69.2cm
RL: 69.2cm RR: 69.8cm
Avant:
FL: 69.5cm FR: 70.5cm
RL: 70.0cm RR: 70.7cm
I will do also mid-wheel to arch (I didn't know this was the proper way to measure) - but this ~1cm average difference does seem to be the case?
