Evening all, ive used the search and nothing comes up. I used to have an 8v FL S3 and there was loads of things you could with vagcom to change and add bits. If the rs3 the same as that or is it different i cant find much on a vagcom mod list.

Yes im knew to the rs3, bought mine this week. 2019 Daytona grey.

Not only are most adaptations appliable between different trim levels on the same base model (A3) but also between totally different brands and even between generations somewhat. That's what it means to be under the VAG umbrella, you can learn transferable skills.

You can't really go wrong on coding as long as you stay on the consumer friendly side of coding, especially if you buy ODB11. The apps list will be tailored to your car model as much as possible and it's way more developed than it used to be a few years ago, there isn't anything not listed as an app now that you need to know about.

The only caution is it cannot know about fitted options, such as matrix headlights. So READ what each app will do above all else and it will say things like "don't run this if you have x fitted".

Some apps are simple adaptations, some also do some longcoding in the mix - both of which you can discover yourself if you want to save some money.

Let me know what sort of coding you want to do and I can look it up for you.

Not really sure just seeing whats available. Just ordered the obd 11. See what thats like, had it a few years ago an thought it was *****. Hopefully the updates like you say improve it.

I only have an S3, but it’s a facelift

I’ve disable the speed warning, added a vanity to the lane assist, disabled the fake exhaust noises in the cabin , stacked the seatbelt warning, disabled audio start,

all little things that make the starting process alittle nicer As I’m a higher milage user
they only thing i need to turn off fun i get in my car is ESP (too intrusive) and pre-sense (picks up on too many non-issues and drives yes brakes unnecessarily)
