Manufacturers warranty run out in November and I have a total mistrust of garages in general, so I will be carrying out its next service myself. The "service required in 30 days" popped up yesterday too. I've bought an oil Vacuum pump and will take out "up top", but never does any harm having a spare sump plug handy. Always worth spending the extra to a carbon activated pollen filter, imo, really does filter out any smells from outside.
