I've had my 2020 A4 Avant 35 TDI from new, and within the last couple of months have noticed when starting it was becoming a bit of an effort; tyical signs of a battery on the way out.
So I purchased a new one (Yuasa, with a higher Ampage rating than the original) installed and coded it in using Carista so the car knew it had a new one.
But in doing this have seen no signs of improvement...
My car is the MHEV variant (the "very" mild version) which has another seperate small 12V battery sat next to the main one in the rear boot space - does anyone know if this battery is the one that deals with the starting of the car?
If so, has anyone had any success in changing this over themselves, or is this something that only a dealership can perform?
