One Touch Roof Close

Hi All. Have been a serial Audi owner (80, A4 and 8xA6s) until last year when I swapped the A6 for a VW Tiguan to keep under the £40k tax threshold, which my annual mileage simply did not justify. Couldn't keep away from Audi though and recently purchased this 2011 TT 2.0TFSi S-Line Roadster.

Overall very happy and the car does not really show its age. One thing I am slightly puzzled about is that the "one touch" function for opening a closing the roof works fine for opening but not for closing. Clearly the switch is working fine and it will open and close whilst driving if you hold the switch. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if there was any simple solution to it.

There maybe a coding option but I think we both agree it's a safety feature even if the roof maybe has pinch protection built in like the doors do incase some foolish child decides to climb in.

It's quite funny you mention this as my old 8P used to work one touch close on the button & strangely it changed to fully hold down until closed, maybe me upgrading modules over time that I missed a coding option or vag decided to remove it, alas.
