Good afternoon all, I hope you can help. My parking sensors and cameras on my 2011 model have stopped working. i plugged the car in and it told me two front sensors were faulty. So i have replaced them and one is still faulty. have swapped around and so know the sensor is ok. it seems the voltage is much lower on the faulty location. Guessing its a damaged cable some where. BUT the modula is in the boot of my estate and found that ok but does anyone know what the wireing loom goes in one of thees as it seems to head down in the darkness!!!!! does it go under the car or in the door sills etc as just can not see it anywhere!! have a replacment loom but now stuck.... thanks in advance

Check if the loom has been damaged by the bump bar & bumper, seen this on an A5, when fitted sio against eachother, check for water in the loom connectors, it's probably got a joint male female connector on the front somewhere, can't recall on the C7 but that's usually how it works, may have corrosion in one or more pins, don't replace unless rusted, just clean with Dremel brush tools, pins will need removing from the connector if it's this.

thanks for the reply. yer have cleaned the plug socket that the sensor plugs into and no different. its the last sensor on the loom so the whole loom is wrapped in a black tape sort of thing so can not see any cables and also the loom is clipped in. very hard to see any ware. but thanks so far

Back to basics, remove tape from loom & check for breaks or cuts, it will unclip as they all do.
