As in the title chaps.
Just become a new owner of a rather nice C6 A6 Allroad avant.

Having not ventured in to the A6 platfrom before and the C6 more specifically I'm sure I will have a lot of questions along the way.
But, having been a long time B7 owner in the A4 B7 forum i'll still be sharing things there as I have a new B7 project in the pipeline now.

Have a good one.

Well picked up Allroad on sunday , first impressions, very nice indeed.
Very refined interior with some nice functions.

A few niggles but always to be expected with a new, old car, to be honest, just some superficial bits really, and an easy fix with some polish and a new rear wiper arm.
One a more annoying thing is the towball, or more a case of the lack of one.
It has a factory fit swivel down setup.
having spent a fair while working out how to get it to deploy , when it did appear it was somewhat lacking....see pics:grumpy:

so will need to address that .

apart from that i am very pleased with it.
Just need to sort out a few sutle upgrades in the normal areas.:thumbs up:

Someone has been busy, why is a mystery.
The mind boggles .

I'm still on the fence on the C6 allroad front grille styling, it's OK, but just seems a bit overkill, maybe just me , lol.
I think i'll look out for an RS6 honeycombe grill which is a bit less , in your face than the allroad one.
It has a nice spec but only manual seats without lumbar adjustment, but they are valcona leather which is nice.
I have become rather attached to the comfortable full electric S4 recaro's that were in my B7 but finding a light grey leather set of full electric C6 seats is not an easy task.

A few weeks into C6 A6 Allroad ownership and it is growing on me.
A very different car to my old special edition b7 A4.
I’ve done a few bits including swapping the 18” alloys for some nicer, well for me, 19” allloys with a bit less profile.
Surprisingly the handling has improved a lot just with that change.

Still looking for a decent RS6 honeycomb grille.
Still lots to do yet and learn .

Bit of a rubbish pic but you get the idea.

Lashed out on a TDI CRTD4 TWIN Channel Diesel Tuning Box, first impressions, very good and a very noticeable improvement.
I have opted to start at n04 setting and see how things go, but liking things so far. :icon thumright:
