Rs style grille help.

Hi all,

Is there anybody around the Crawley way that is available to help me to fit an rs style grille?

I've got the bumper off but the grille won't budge.

I'll pay of course.

So I got the grille all fitted

Hardest part was getting the bumper back on the car.

Definitely wouldn't do this job again

Should have painted the bar black, but I'll find a way at some point to blacken it without removing the bumper.

For anyone else doing this job, the crash foam is what makes refitting ****** hard, but it does fit.

These aftermarket grilles fit well overall. The Audi logo does not fit back on. It's too small.

Anyone know what size I need to buy?

Anybody know which size ring badge these grilles use? The stock badge is slightly too small?

The black badge came off my standard grille which it fitted perfectly.

It doesn't fit the rs style grille at all.

Is there an alternative size that will fit?

I fitted different grilles to my former 8P and PFL 8V. It was relatively easy on the 8P, removing and refitting the bumper on the 8V was easy enough but the grille was very fiddly and took ages.

What would cause the bumper to not line up properly with the headlights?

Both sides are like this.

For those of you that are looking for an after market grille.

I purchased this one

Do NOT buy it. It's ****. The audi badges do NOT fit. I even tried the slightly larger A4 badge and that doesn't fit either.

All that happens is the badge mount snaps it's clips off.

I'll be refitting the stock grille.
