Hello fellow members,
after recent intank fuel pump failure and finding out they are obsolete and no after market options. Is anyone breaking a 3.0 tdi that may like to selling the pump or if anyone has a spare they may like to part with.
any help would be much appreciated and cash waiting for anyone who has one.

I’d be very surprised if there were no aftermarket options available.

What’s the VIN as the OE number has probably changed by now from what’s listed on the unit.

Simply go onto autodoc use the reg no and find the oem part and the replacements now offered. Pick the one you can afford and replace it upon receiving it. Job done.

Too many variants to rely on parts catalogues like that where they are not vin matched. Yes they have their purpose and you may get lucky ordering the correct part but its best to get the OE number direct from the manufacturer and go from there, at least then you have a recent number to x-ref off.

In case you've never used their website...
It shows you the oem nu.bers te part is a match for... aka if the manufacturer has replaced it the parts they offer will be based on the replacement part with the same manufacturers oem part modifications.

That's why I pointed them out. Also the OP has got the oem part number so all he has to do is check for himself... sure he could match ot through etka and find the replacement part number but at autodoc they've already done that, you just need to make sure to double check and if that is to much you can always just send them a message with the vin and the reg no for them to double check before you commit to buying anything.
